Kevin Conners

Managing Member


As a founding member of Wolf Resources, Kevin leads the sales and asset management areas of our business.

Over the course of his career with Conners Oil & Gas and Wolf Resources, Kevin has completed leasehold and mineral rights transactions totaling over 300,000+ acres in the Denver Julesburg Basin (“DJ Basin”) and other U.S. Onshore basins.

Kevin received his undergraduate degree in Regional Development and Business from the University of Arizona.


Matt Ritter

Managing Member


Since joining Wolf Resources in early 2016, Matt has been an integral part of its transition from startup to rapid growth. Since then, Wolf has grown from 5 to 24 employees and has established itself as an active participant in the oil and gas industry. Over the past 19 years, Matt has leveraged his business expertise as an entrepreneur to create and grow multiple Colorado businesses, including Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, LLC, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and property management company and Clear Creek Advisors which is an independent financial services provider specializing in wealth management and insurance solutions to high net-worth individuals. Matt has extensive capital raising, management, strategic planning, team building and leadership experience.


Jill Conners



Jill is a Co-Founder and a Managing Member with Wolf Resources. Instrumental in starting the company, Jill handles difficult title curative work as well as assisting the acquisition team in completing transactions. Her role includes the examination of title, leases, contracts and other legal documents to determine ownership of oil and gas mineral rights. Prior to joining Wolf Resources, Jill founded and managed her own company, JM Resources, offering contract land services. Jill completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio State University.


Travis Low

Chief Operating Officer


Travis Low has over 15 years of oil and gas experience.  He has worked for various public and private companies which include PDC Energy (“PDCE”) and Samson Resources.  His experience includes corporate finance, business development, strategic planning, and land.

Travis has participated in over $4 billion of market transactions. While at PDCE, Travis worked with the company’s business development team to build PDCE’s premier position in the DJ Basin.

Travis holds an MBA from Regis University and is working towards a Doctorate in Finance.


Tim Krebs

Chief Financial Officer

Tim is responsible for managing the financial, accounting, treasury, corporate development, and risk management functions at Wolf.

Prior to Wolf, Tim worked at Caerus Oil and Gas LLC. Before Caerus, he worked in New York for Clarkson Plateau Securities (investment banking) and Black Opal Equity (search fund). Tim has participated in 45 acquisitions and capital markets transactions worth over $12 billion.

Tim holds an MBA from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.

Shelly Curtis

VP - Business Operations


Shelly Curtis has over 15 years’ experience driving operational excellence. Since joining Wolf Resources, LLC, in 2016, she has become a key driver of all operational and management functions. Her continued dedication and passion for business operations has been essential in Wolf’s growth.

Prior to Wolf Resources, LLC, Shelly worked at Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, performing technical and operational functions in support of the company’s strategic vision and core processes. Shelly’s experience with capital markets and expertise in developing and growing companies serves as a strong foundation for success in the industry.


Laura Wasserman

Director of Land & Divestitures


As Vice President of Land Operations, Laura is well versed within all aspects of the industry.

Her experience extends to all major basins with a high technical expertise in the Denver Julesburg (DJ) Basin. Her expertise of title, working interest and data are key factors to her success in acquiring minerals, leases and solving title defects.

Laura is a member of several local organizations, including the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen (DAPL), Women in Oil & Gas Association (WOGA) and the Junior League of Denver. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University.


Jim Shuss, P.E.

VP - Engineering & Underwriting


Jim Shuss has more than 13 years of oil and gas experience.  He provides detailed reservoir engineering and evaluation expertise at Wolf leveraging his experience in numerous US onshore basins.

Prior to joining Wolf, he worked at PDC Energy (“PDCE”) for 9 years serving as the Manager of Reserves & Business Development.  In that role, he served as lead SEC reserves engineer for the company’s DJ Basin assets and led all technical evaluations for over $4 billion of market transactions including corporate acquisitions, asset divestitures, debt offerings, and equity issuance.

 Jim holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.


Chantell Archuleta

Business Operations Manager



Jackson Bailey



Jackson is a Denver native, and 3rd generation Landman. He has extensive knowledge in mineral and leasing acquisitions. He continues to build relationships with major operators. Assisting Bayswater (a major DJ operator) Jackson has completed multiple surface locations and title curative. While completing his degree at Western State Colorado University’s Energy Management Program, he enjoyed skiing and the outdoors.


Jessica Butler

Junior Title Associate


Jessica received her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado where she studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Her past research experience and attention to detail will serve as a strong foundation for success in the industry. Jessica grew up in Houston, Texas and now enjoys being close to the mountains for hiking and camping.


Eric Heringer

Sr. Landman


As a key member of the acquisitions team and a 3rd generation Landman, Eric has completed 100+ mineral and lease transactions. His leadership skills and attention to detail have helped Wolf become a dominate player in the oil & gas industry. He is a college athlete with a degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.


Ryan Holligan



As a major component to Wolf’s acquisitions team, Ryan is found working long hours and never backing down from a challenge. His attention to detail comes from working 5 years as a finance manager. His experience in the oil & gas industry has made him well versed in multiple basins. Ryan graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Sports Industry and Venue Operations with a minor in Business.


John Jones



Before moving to Colorado from Georgia 4 years ago, John studied business at the University of Auburn. From there he decided he needed to explore more than just the southeast. Once settled in Colorado he began to learn more about the oil and gas industry and worked as a Landman part time. He soon found a passion for the industry and Wolf Resources became the perfect career opportunity for him. When John is not working with landowners, you will find him in the great outdoors enjoying everything from skiing to camping and anything in-between.  


Billy LaFortune



An Oklahoma native, Billy has been working as an Acquisitions Landman for the past two years upon his graduation from the University of Tulsa. During his undergraduate years he majored in both Energy Management and Finance, giving him the knowledge needed to build a successful career in the oil and gas industry. As a Petroleum Landman, he has gained valuable acquisition experience in multiple basins across the country.  Billy was a member of the Division I football team for the University of Tulsa, where he played offensive line and won a conference and Liberty Bowl championship.


Kyle Ostrow

Acquisitions Manager


Kyle is a Landman specializing in mineral interest acquisitions, leasing and title research. He is a talented leader that is heavily involved in strategic planning of the company. Kyle graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Finance where he excelled playing Division I hockey for the 8 time National Championship Pioneers. After graduation, Kyle played professional hockey in North America and in Europe including with the Colorado Eagles in Loveland, CO. While he was playing he completed a Petroleum Land Management program at Oklahoma City University.


Megan Pullam

Data Analytics Manager


At Wolf Resources, Megan’s role includes the examination of title, leases, contracts and other legal documents to determine ownership of oil and gas mineral rights. Megan completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and also has a culinary degree from the Colorado Institute of Art. Before joining Wolf Resources, Megan worked with the Department of Education and spent 11 years in the beer industry.


Derek Rodwell

Sr. Landman | Title


Derek excels in multiple oil & gas practices. He is proficient in leasing, acquisitions and enjoys the challenges of title. Prior to joining Wolf Resources, Derek completed a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of North Dakota where he played Division I Hockey along with receiving an academic scholarship. He continued to play professional hockey for 3 years.


Bobby Rukavina



A Minnesota native, before joining wolf as a Jr. Landman, Bobby was working as a Commercial Real Estate Broker in Colorado upon graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During his undergraduate years he majored in both Finance & Entrepreneurship, while also minoring in Geology. Thus, giving him the knowledge needed to build a successful career in the oil and gas industry. As a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Jr. Landman, he has gained valuable acquisition experience across multiple investment platforms. Bobby was a Ralphie Handler for 4 years during his time at the University of Colorado where he was responsible for handling the school’s live mascot Ralphie V.


Sue Sommer

Land Technician


Sue has more than four years of experience in the oil and gas industry, during which she has served in several management positions. As our in-house client relationship specialist, Sue helps the company maintain a consistently high quality of service across all divisions and areas of expertise. Sue has extensive experience in managing complex relationships with multiple oil companies, along with a balanced background in all facets of the industry—including abstract creation, leasing, title management, curative projects, data management and general office administration.


Sami Stornelli

Sr. Landman | Title Manager


Before joining Wolf Resources, Sami ran title, completed curative, and managed 150+ mineral and royalty assets totaling over 5,000 net acres across 5 states. Sami received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and received 3 certificates in Energy Land Management from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.
